About the Artist
Karen L Strand is founder of KLS Collections-
unique one of a kind jewelry designed for the
woman who wants to make a statement. She
began designing in 1989 shortly after traveling
for a year throughout Northern America. She
was inspired by artists she met along the way
and the wide variety of media and styles in the
pieces she discovered.
Karen works in her studio in Palos Verdes,
California. She has been collecting beads and
stones almost all her life. After years in
nursing management, she took time off to
follow her passion. "I've truly come full circle.
Now I'm back to my beads and love creating
beautiful pieces of art."
Karen prides herself in offering a wide variety
of high quality necklaces and other jewelry
using precious & semiprecious stones with
numerous other beads and materials. "I want
my jewelry to be classy and unique yet
affordable."
